Polish design agency EC-5 Architects, specialised in hospitality architecture and interiors, has designed the ibis Styles Lviv interiors. „Lviv is a magical city where tradition is mixed with modernity. This unique blend of what’s new with what’s old as well as the city atmosphere and every day lives of its inhabitants became our inspiration. We cannot wait to get to know what the first guests think about the design of the hotel.” – Luiza Jodłowska, architect and owner, EC-5 Architects
The new ibis Styles hotel presents a fresh approach towards the city, which commonly is associated with monuments and historical buildings. The refreshed motif of embroidery, characteristic to historical buildings along with the pattern based on the city plan are used on wallpapers, carpets and bathroom tiles. They also serve as a base for the signage system. Additionally, on each of the 8 hotel floors guests can find design elements inspired by everyday life of the contemporary Lviv, like bicycles, tramway railways, old-school benches, city lamps, as well as the motif of lion. Vivid colors which contrast with delicate, bright background as well as decor details made of wood combined with modern lamps, reception desks and furniture give a fresh and energetic touch to the interiors.
