Lana Del Rey’s famously described herself as “the gangsta Nancy Sinatra,” and in case you didn’t understand what she meant by this, she’s making it very clear in her latest video.
NYLON: Del Rey’s latest video is a cover of Nancy Sinatra’s and Lee Hazlewood’s Summer Wine (1967). Whether or not she’s inspired by Sinatra or impersonating, we’re not totally sure. On another note, we’re pretty sure that’s her boyfriend (maybe fiance?) Barrie James O’Neil singing Lee Hazlewood’s part ().
