Oaxen Krog & Slip by Mats Fahlander & Agneta Pettersson

In the old shipyard at Djurgården, Stockholm, the restaurant Oaxen Krog & Slip opened in 2013. The building is designed by Mats Fahlander and Agneta Pettersson and have a nice view right by the harbor and an airy, light room with big windows overlooking the harbor. The interior is best described as nordic minimalism.

The restaurant uses only local produced items and food, either the table is produced next door or the fish is from within Scandinavia´s borders. The restaurant Krog won a Michelin-star this year, and the Slip won the Michelin Bib Gourmand-award. Krog has also won 2 Swedish awards for Business-restaurant of the year 2014 and Gulddraken in the category Lyx the same year. In summary, they´ve had a good year, and with half a year left, who knows how many awards they win before this year have ended.
