Peer Kusiv – Someone Told Me

Peer Kusiv is a music producer from the far north of Germany. Even as a small boy, he developed a great interest in different styles of music – be it classical or jazz, pop or techno-stomping 90s – the still young artist is inspired by diverse influences. A short time later peer Kusiv begins to play the piano. He is captivated by the early German hip hop and begins to improvise first own songs.

At twelve, he comes the first time with the music production in contact and it immediately sparked a passion in him. Over the years a small studio is set up – with the time ever more professional.

Also produced in-house productions music changed. The many years of hip-hop beats fiddling are over and peer Kusiv music is still evolving in the direction of electronic music. He mixes classic instruments with dark synths and minimalist drums. The pieces are always danceable and he can draw fully from his previous experiences.

In the peer music production combined various musical styles and developed them into new soundscapes on. A mix of samples and even rehearsed melodies created. Peers style is recognizable and makes him far beyond the borders of his native city of Kiel known. Appeared on his 2012 debut album “nature techno” this diversity is clearly evident – and it stimulates an on again and again to hit the dance floor.
