Alvaro Siza Vieira creates two brick volumes for a public auditorium near Barcelona

The Llinars Auditorium in Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona, designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira + Aresta Arquitectura, is part of a public investment in cultural facilities. The building consists of two volumes, one for the auditorium with a capacity of 300 seats and another one where are located the offices and the technical area. The volume of the auditorium has three floors. On Floor -1 are located the technical area and the reservoir, at Level 0 is the auditorium and on Floor 0 a scenic cabin is located. The second volume has two floors, the first one is dedicated to the dressing rooms, rehearsal room and a warehouse and the other one is intended for technical use and offices.
