The Piano House by LINE Architects is a single-storey pavilion of glass, concrete and wood located in the suburbs of Chisinau, Moldova. Situated on a flat plot of a trapezoidal shape, it has three sides surrounded by existing low-rise buildings that dictated the shape of the house. The plan forms an inner courtyard of a regular shape with a swimming pool, above which hovers the home construction. Clear and concise exterior lines flow into the interior of the house. The house is spread over most of the area, all zones of the house being built around the courtyard. In addition to the common area, the house consists of three bedrooms, out of which two are for children and the third is the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room, as well as auxiliary facilities and a games room.
