The new up and coming dessert bar in Ekamai, the Shugaa, features french style delicate desserts created by a Thai chef and that became the inspiration for the interior design where sugar is an omnipresent element. The concept draws itself from sugar molecules and crystals. Looking in from the outside through the glass wall, a polygonal installation can be seen hanging down in the front part and that is shaped like sugar crystals. Wood and mint green have been used to add warm and earthy vibes. The design team has added a dash of modern and luxury by using rose gold elements and a marble counter bar. Ultimately, the sugar crystal spiral staircase made by acrylic boxes is the highlight of the dessert room.
