‘Vino e cucina’ creates a country estate atmosphere in the heart of the metropolis

The architects’ objective was to refine the space of the restaurant’s terrace and develop a standing out design. The structure of the canopy consists of wooden horizontal closure strips. The sitting area is furnished with rattan and wooden furniture as well as sofas with exposed wood frames. The tabletops are made of concrete and brushed wood. As decorative elements, there are mesh reinforcements where crocks with climbing ivy and cordwood are placed. The industrial style bar counter consists of a concrete tabletop fixed on mesh reinforcement filled with cordwood. It is illuminated with Edison bulbs with three litre jars as a lamp shades. A sober colour palette with shades of green, grey and brown creates an atmosphere of a country estate in the very heart of metropolis. A huge bottle made of small wooden bars is the main decorative element of the terrace.
