Voodoo Ray’s ‘pizza by the slice’ at BOXPARK Shoreditch

Mural by Mister Potter the Child Wizard

Voodoo Ray’s, a New York style ‘pizza by the slice’ restaurant, invited Brinkworth to help develop new venues following the success of their pilot restaurant in Dalston. Their latest site is situated within three container units at BOXPARK Shoreditch. Brinkworth developed a site-specific solution for this unusually restrictive layout. The linear nature of the containers are emphasised by high bars, each covered in Voodoo Ray’s signature tiles, creating dynamic bands of colour along each row, while corrugated galvanized steel reflects the materiality of the containers. The vivid orange neon signage and the extensive use of square tiles in bold colours references the original design of the Dalston venue.
