Wireless lamps activated by electromagnetic fields

Our habitat is pervaded by electromagnetic radiations deriving from electronic devices. This invisible network of waves forms a radio-scape in our environment, and surrounds us ubiquitously. Instead of shielding from these omnipresent radio waves, Alice Bonicelli and Lorena Rubio Toledo speculate on future possibilities of using them as open-source energy. These wireless lamps are activated whenever they encounter an electromagnetic field and thus reveal the invisible presence of the radio-scape. The magic of this wireless interaction hints at new scenarios of living in the electromagnetic habitat.
