Wood, rusted iron plates and cow skins – Restaurant Evergreen by AKSL arhitekti

Restaurant Evergreen was designed in 2010 and it is located on Smlednik golf course. Its interior combines wood, rusted iron plates and cow skins and does not want to pursue the design features of a standard wood construction, with pine logs. Instead, it introduces the wood in its interior and is highlighted by a combination of rusty iron, glass and ceramics. Vertical fireplace dominates the room and provides a homely and warm atmosphere. The main level houses a bar counter, a sitting area and a restaurant. The upper level houses the club. Uniquely shaped elements of light, coffee tables, coat hangers, and wash basins are designed specifically for this restaurant by Almira Sadar and Dejan Pfeiffer.
